About Ouyen
Ouyen is in the heart of the Mallee, 110km south of Mildura. Ouyen features its own man-made lake which is a mecca for water-sports, swimming and community events. It is also surrounded by a beautiful array of National Parks including Wyperfeld (60 km south-west), Hattah-Kulkyne (40 km north) and Murray Sunset National Park (70 km west).
Ouyen is on the crossroads of the Calder and Mallee Highways, providing easy access to both Adelaide (3.5 hours) and Melbourne (4.5 hours). The nearest regional centre is Mildura which is known for its river frontage, eateries, arts, shopping and entertainment. It has an airport that has regular flights to Adelaide and Melbourne.
