For life threatening problems – RING 000 (Triple Zero) for Ambulance assistance. 


Mallee Track Health and Community Service have a 24 hour unfunded Urgent Care Centre for urgent medical care.


Registered nurses are available at all times. A Doctor may not be available.


If a Doctor attends, a consultation fee and a non-claimable fee will be charged.


For non-life threatening situations, it is recommended to call the hospital first.


To access the Urgent Care Centre:

  • Come directly to the Urgent Care Entrance;

  • If after hours use the phone in the Urgent Care Entrance to speak to the Registered Nurse.


Reasons why you may visit the Urgent Care Centre:

  • Chest Pain;

  • Head Injury;

  • Difficulty Breathing;

  • Uncontrollable Bleeding;

  • Trauma;

  • After an Accident; and

  • Severe Allergic reaction e.g. bee sting, food allergy.
